Character Story: Born to a small family and to parents that constantly fought and eventually split Barton spent many of his days with his older brother Allen playing, causing trouble and ,even after all the desrtuction and the constant feeling of despair, just being kids. He grew to accept his parents constant arguments and his father abusive and frequent beating of his mother but he was not ready for what happened next. His parents both left one night unannounced deserting Barton and his brother Allen in a place that had no rules or morals. All they had to rely on was each other. After years of independent life and survival he decided that he needed to move on and leave this place of nightmares and broken dreams. At the age of 23 he left Lincoln remembering the lessons and experiences of his youth and his strong relationship with his brother and began the long and tiring trek ahead to the epicenter of the new America. The Trade City of New Denver.
