    Possessions:

On Person - One set of clothes (dark blue faded t-shirt, khaki work pants with cargo pockets, a white undershirt, boxer briefs, heavy socks), a pair of heavy black combat boots, a black leather rocker-style motorcycle jacket, a pair of black weighted knuckle gloves (8oz steel shot), an extendable metal baton, a switchblade, driving goggles, a cloth headwrap, a wasteland camouflage dustcloak, and a single-strap over-the-shoulder bandolier style backpack that contains a roll of duct tape, a hand-drawn map on a scrap of cloth, three days' trail rations, a small LED flashlight, a multi-tool, and a pair of compact binoculars. He also wears a crude leather shoulder holster, but he doesn't carry firearms on his person.

Stored in Car - A mechanic's toolkit with tools, a second set of clothes (see above), a MAC-10 submachinegun, a crowbar, a first aid kit, 8x50rd boxes of 9x19mm Parabellum ammunition, a small crate with a week's worth of food for one person, another crate with whatever he happens to be transporting at the moment, and some Molotov cocktails in the cupholders.

Car - As part of his job, Asher drives a beat-up old junker that he assembled himself across the wastes. This vehicle, a 5-seater coupe with reinforced siding, extra trunk space, and offroad capabilities is vaguely based on a Chevrolet Corvette in terms of shape, albeit larger. Due to the armored siding, large frame, and heavy carrying capacity, it accelerates slowly compared to other vehicles, however it reaches a pretty high top speed and its heavy frame allows for more control than lighter cars.

Character Appearance: Medium height, shaved head, lightly tanned skin from being out in the sun, muscles toned from regular physical workouts as well as the rigors of postapocalyptic life. Asher dresses simply, in a faded plain dark-blue shirt that stretches a little tight over his chest, over a white undershirt, with a pair of dirty khaki heavy-duty work pants tucked into a pair of black combat boots. Depending on the weather, he also dons a black rocker style padded motorcycle jacket (which also serves as armor) with nickel rivets, a remnant of his old gang. The jacket had some kind of design patch on the back, however this has long since been removed. Asher also wears a pair of weighted knuckle gloves, which he uses mostly for driving gloves because they're reinforced and protect his hands, but isn't afraid to deck someone with in the event of a fight. Asher wears his goggles around his forehead along with a cloth wrap around his neck, which he covers his head with when he drives. Over his back is a small sport backpack on a shoulder strap.

Other Physical Characteristics: The martial arts style he uses is a combination of Russian Sambo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Capoeira, Judo, and Muay Thai.

    Character Personality:

Character Story: Asher grew up on the fringes of the Los Angeles Ruins in what was once California, and life wasn't easy for him. His parents died early in his life, leaving him to be taken in by a washed up old drunk of an auto-mechanic who had been friends with his father. His early life was hard. His adoptive mother forced him to learn to read and write because she thought that if she kept him off the streets, the gangs wouldn't get him, and his adoptive father worked him like a dog while teaching him the nuances of how to take apart and put together working automobiles. On his few moments of freedom from this near-slavery, Asher found a surprising friendship in an older Russian man who squatted in the same ruined tenement. This man, who had been born shortly after the apocalypse, taught the raging adolescent Asher ways to calm his mind through meditation, to seek shelter in his own head from the rigors of his normal life. Later, he went on to learn legitimate martial arts, a hobby that kept his body fit and strong as well as taught him how to protect himself from the bigger, older street gangers. As his adoptive parents got older and weaker and Asher grew older and stronger, he stopped taking orders from them. In one extreme case, Asher broke three fingers on his adoptive father's left hand for attempting to beat him for insubordination. He left the house as soon as he could, and soon fell in with a street gang known as the Red Riders. Here, he prospered. The others accepted him well enough, he could handle himself in a fight and he had a skill, as well as knowing how to read, and he was unassuming enough that the others didn't see him as a threat. For the next few years, he lived the life of a street urchin, doing whatever he wanted to. He used his fighting skills to stay alive, and his intense martial arts training conditioned his body perfectly for the activity that now took up most of his time: free running. Asher would climb, hop, or jump anything and everything, seeking to climb the tallest buildings and mount the most insurmountable of obstacles. His curiousity got the better of him, however. One day, he adventured a little too far from his gang's turf, and ended up accidentally kicking a rock off of a tall building onto the upturned face of a rival gang leader, causing him to lose an eye. That day, the gang burnt his tenement down with Molotov cocktails, killing his adoptive family and his friend the old martial artist, and the Red Riders permanently exiled him, threatening pain of death if he ever returned. Asher left LA without a second thought, stealing a motorbike and meeting a traveling merchant on the way who directed him to a port city further south. That was when he was 18. 7 years later, he is a successful transporter of guns and ammunition imported straight from Australia.
