Ethical Rules
These Rules and Guidelines apply to the whole site and will be strictly enforced. No one is above them, not even the Administrators and Moderators, however in rare cases, Admins and Mods have the authority to break them if necessary.
Play nice, stick to the rules, and everyone will have fun.
1. Harassment – Discrimination towards players will not be tolerated in any way, shape, or form. This includes racist, sexist, or any other kind of discriminatory or non-discriminatory verbal abuse (flaming). In-game discrimination (such as playing a white supremacist character) is alright as long as it fits your character’s description or he/she has a valid reason to be that way, but the use of racial slurs and hate crimes should be kept low or just implied. Some people can’t separate reality and the game, please be conscientious of those people. Sexual harassment follows the same guidelines, though it will be dealt with by in-game law authorities.
2. Respect – For the best possible cooperative roleplaying experience, show respect and courtesy to all members of the forum, regardless of rank, age, political/religious beliefs, etc. This also includes pestering the Admins and Mods about reviewing your user-created content: we have lots of things to do, so don’t expect an instantaneous response. Being polite and civil will help your chances with anything around here.
3. Rule Enforcement/Rent-A-Modding – If you see someone breaking a rule, we encourage you to send them a gentle reminder in the form of a PM with the cited rule and advice on how to not break that rule in the future. Repeat offenders should be referred to an Administrator or Moderator; we’ll decide what to do with them.
4. Content – Do not under any circumstances post pictures, videos, or links to adult content (porn, hentai, things like that).
5. Chatspeak – Refrain from chatspeak as much as possible in-game (unless your character is using the internet or speaks that way). Spell-check all your posts so that you look like an intelligent individual, and because your posts will be easier to read. This board’s language is English, if speaking in another language provide a translation.
6. Profanity – It seems like profanity is a part of every day life nowadays and is fine in-game, but please tone it down and keep it to a minimum.
7. Multiple Accounts – Please refrain from creating multiple accounts, as this only clogs up the system. It’s alright to run multiple characters, just post the name of the character currently acting at the top of every post you make. If you share a computer with a sibling, exceptions will be made. Aside from that, one or more of the duplicate accounts will be deleted. We’ll flip a coin or roll a die on that one.
8. Spamming – Posts that are obviously of a spamming nature will be subject to immediate deletion.
9. Advertising – Do not advertise your own site in any part of the forum unless you receive permission from the administrators. If you want to be an affiliate of Gameway, just PM Spartan or Yukarin-rin.
