How Ranks Work
Tier ---------------Rank
LOW: Weak Average Strong
MID: Weak Average Strong
HIGH: Weak Average Strong
Low Level Weak – Rank 1-3
Low Level Average – Rank 4-6
Low Level Strong – Rank 7-9
Mid Level Weak – Rank 10-12
Mid Level Average – Rank 13-15
Mid Level Strong – Rank 16-18
High level Weak – Rank 19-21
High Level Average – Rank 22-24
High Level Strong – Rank 25-27
Elite Class – 28+
Low class is usually Seated officers
Mid class usually contains Numeroes and Lieutenants
High class usually contains Captains and Espada
The Elite class is usually for Characters of extreme power, such as Aizen, Yamamoto, and Vasto Lorde.
This is the power scale that each player will be responsible for following. Basically, while in combat, you are able to fight on equal footing with someone in your Class (example Low Level Weak). During battle, you are able to rely on two things to give you an advantage. Either you can rely on the difference in a few stats, or you can rely on difference in rank. Even if you are in the same class, someone of a higher rank is considered more powerful, but this doesn’t mean you someone of a lower rank cannot defeat someone of a higher rank, it is just more difficult.
If you have an equal Class, you are able to fight on equal ground and must rely on other skills and abilities you have.
1 Class higher than you, it will be difficult to win, but not impossible. This one may take some creative thinking and fighting.
2 Classes higher than you is much, much more difficult to battle. Say a Mid level weak character is fighting a Mid level strong character. The weaker of the two is less likely to win due to the difference in power, but again, it is not impossible. I do stress the fact that the weaker character is going to be in for a very difficult battle though.
1 Tier above you is considered an auto loss. If you are Mid Level average and are fighting a High level average character, you are most likely going to lose, just because of the difference in power. Put it like this, the power between different classes isn’t that great. But between tiers is much different. Multiple people of a certain class may be able to take down a character of a higher tier, but we’ll see what happens. Never know, never underestimate.
How to Rank Up:
Ranking up requires a player to post in threads, or create their own threads. You must post at least the required amount within a thread in order for it to count. A player who wishes to rank up must PM a mod for the game with links to the threads they wish to use. The posts in the thread must meet the requirements of the staff, I.e. Well written, thought out, and plot driven. As a player ranks higher it will be more difficult to acquire the next rank. Threads with more than just the minimum amount of posts are more likely to be accepted. MODS HAVE COMEPLETE POWER TO DISAPPROVE A THREAD IF THEY WISH. At least half of the threads used to rank up must be combat oriented threads. Depending on the character exceptions may be made for the required amount of combat threads required. PM a Mod for more information.
The maximum rank a player can achieve is rank 40.
Rank 1 to 3 requires 2 different threads with 10 posts from the player wishing to rank up in each.
Rank 4 to 15 require 3 different threads with 10 posts from the player wishing to rank up in each.
Rank 16 to 24 require 4 different threads with 13 posts from the player wishing to rank up in each.
Rank 25 to 27 require 5 different threads with 15 posts from the player wishing to rank up in each.
Rank 28+ requires 6 different threads with 15 posts from the player wishing to rank up in each.
